Snowy Portrait Session

Revisiting some of my favorite photos to kick off the blog.

Ashley & Lexy, two very dear, very beautiful friends. They were excellent sports after I convinced them to tramp with me through the snow back in 2012.

Mont Saint-Michel in France, one of the most magical places I have ever been. Fun fact, this photo got me the grand prize in a travel photography contest :)

One of my favorite portraits of Aubrey. Her hair is my favorite part; I love wild hair and when the wind is involved I couldn't be happier.

If this isn't the epitome of a beautiful, glowing bride, I don't know what is. I was privileged to photograph Danny & Shawna's wedding last summer, 2012.

And finally, my favorite photo of all time. I think it is a combination of things that makes this my favorite. I took this photo in Paris, France during a study abroad trip. I got a group of friends together and advised them to wear something romantic, no real specifics on the style. I loved what they all came up with. The resulting photo was a combination of personalities all fusing together into this very dreamy scene. This was one of those shoots where I was literally bouncing up and down because I was so excited, I was running back and forth like a madwoman, demonstrating poses and the majority of the time being unable to stop smiling because I really loved what I was seeing. This is proof that you really don't need a perfect setting or professional models to make a wonderful photograph. All it takes is a bit of creativity and imagination, and when you can get people to meet your level of enthusiasm, that is magic.
