It is so important to me to have a connection with each and every one of my couples. It's the magic ingredient to capturing those candid, joyful moments that probably drew you to my work in the first place. 

The more comfortable you are with me, and the more you can let go of your worries and trust that I've got you, the more you can be your true authentic selves in front of my camera - and THAT is the goal. I want you to look back on these photos 10, 20 and 50 years from now and see a true snapshot of one of the most special seasons of your lives.

When your wedding day arrives, my goal is to feel like a friend, rather than a hired vendor. So that means - our very first step is connecting via a Zoom call so we can get to know each other!

After our initial video call, if you two decide we’re the perfect fit, it’ll be time to make it official. All you need to do is decide on your collection, and from there, I’ll send you an online proposal with your custom contract, invoice, and payment schedule all able to be completed online!

I like to keep things simple, so in order to reserve your date, all you'll pay is a $1,000 retainer and just like that, your date will be saved and the adventure begins! You'll pay your remaining balance one month before the wedding (payment plans available if you'd prefer to pay in installments). From there, I’ll be checking in to make sure you're doing well and the planning is going smoothly, and I'll begin sending you helpful education on first looks and timelines, shot lists, and more.

And then, the best part– we’ll start planning your engagement session!

This is my favorite part! Engagement sessions are included in every one of my wedding packages because I truly believe they are a vital part of the wedding experience as a whole. Engagement sessions are the time where we get to know each other, I get to see how you interact together, and you get to see how great you actually are in front of my camera (I'll tell you exactly what to do with your hands).

We get to shoot in any location that's special to you (and I'm full of suggestions if you don't know where to start), you can wear what you’re comfortable in, and there are no guests begging for your attention. It’s just the two of you doing something you love, just better this time because you have a professional capturing all the sweet moments between you two, giving you more time to focus on each other instead of having to find the perfect selfie angle.

When your images are ready, they’ll be featured on the blog and delivered via online gallery. Some of my favorite engagement sessions in Washington have taken place at Mt Rainier, Rattlesnake Lake, Deception Pass, Mt Baker and even the ferries to the islands!

I love being involved in the wedding planning process. My goal as your photographer is to make sure you have the most fun and stress-free day possible. Because of that, I'm extremely organized when it comes to your wedding day plans!

Throughout the months leading up, I'm always happy to meet you for drinks to go over details, or hop on as many calls as you need in order to feel comfortable and ready for your day. I don't expect you to know the exact amount of time it would take to photograph a group of 20 loved ones, or the best lighting for your first look - but I do! I am your resource and will be as involved in the process as you need.

Leading up to the day, I'll help you create a detailed timeline, send over my family portraits shot list, and share my suggestions on timing and lighting for the different portions of the day. You’ll receive my wedding day questionnaire and vendor questionnaire to make sure that I have all of the information I need in order to help your day run smoothly. About 2 weeks out from the wedding, we’ll have a video call to go over any final details!

Hooray, it’s here!! The day of your wedding goes by in an instant, and I want you to be able to soak up every second of it. It's my goal to make sure it’s the most fun and stress free day possible, for not just you - but your family and friends, too.

When I arrive, I’ll most likely begin with photographing your details, scoping out the venue to get a lay of the land, and introducing myself to your friends and family. I want to capture your day in the most authentic way possible, so I shoot as a photojournalist; I'm a fly on the wall, always on the lookout for the sweet moments happening in the background that you may not see - the looks on your parents' faces as you say your vows, your hands clutched tightly together as you listen to your loved ones' toasts; your grandmother watching the first dance from the sidelines...all of these small moments come together to create the story of your wedding day, and it’s my job to weave those emotions together into a timeless gallery.

When it comes time for any posed photos, I'm there to direct and organize for the most efficient experience so you can all get back to enjoying the party. I am always happy to take any guests' portraits, and encourage everyone just to reach out if they have something in mind! By the end of the night when the dancing begins, I'm ready to get in the mix, dance with you, get all those fun party shots, and end our night with a big hug (and a selfie together) before I leave you to your night!

After the wedding day, I immediately get to work turning those images into art. Within the week following your wedding, you'll receive a handful of highlights from your day to tide you over while the full gallery is created. When all your edits are complete, you will receive an online gallery of HUNDREDS of images. It’s my goal to get you your images while you’re still excited about the wedding, and the bliss hasn’t faded. I deliver approximately 100 photos per hour of coverage, 6 - 8 weeks following the wedding day.

From this gallery, you'll be able to share your images with friends and family, download to your computer, share to social media and order prints. While you have full print rights to your images, I always recommend couples print through the gallery shop - which uses a professional lab - if you’re going to make prints for your walls; the quality of professional labs is just so much better!

I always encourage my couples to make an event out of viewing their photos by grabbing some drinks, turning on some music (most important step!), and getting cozy while they relive their day together!

Each gallery (including your engagement session) includes an easy to use print shop, chock full of amazing products - prints, albums, greeting cards, frames, canvases, to name a few - all from high quality print shops. I highly recommend that you spend some time exploring it all. You can easily design your own albums using the pre-created template or by starting from scratch. If you run into any issues, there's a very helpful chat bot on the bottom right that can assist you.

My absolute favorite products in the shop are the prints and the albums. There is something so special about being able to hold your wedding photos. Take it from me - I have thousands of photos on my computer from really meaningful experiences in my own life, that I never thought about, until I decided to take them off those dusty old hard drives and order prints and create albums that I gifted to family and friends. Now I get to relieve those special moments every day rather than once a year on my anniversary.

There are over four different types of albums alone to choose from, including Everyday, Fine Art, Lay Flat, etc), with different sizes, materials and colors to customize to perfection. Think of your album as an heirloom, a very tangible memory of your wedding day that you can see and touch for the rest of your lives.

Photography has allowed me to combine all of my INFJ superpowers into one package, & it fills me with so much joy to share that with my couples. The feedback I've received most from my couples is that I'm a calming presence on their wedding day; I'm ready to step in to help you with your dress, keep things on schedule and running smoothly, and make sure that your hair stays in place all night.
